Ancient oaks with Kedar and Cel

Why is the ancient oak habitat of Sherwood Forest so special?

Actors Kedar Williams-Stirling and Cel Spellman visited us recently to find out for themselves.

Cel and Kedar spoke to our site manager Chloe Ryder about the importance of decaying wood to a whole host of species.

In this new Save Our Wild Isles film jointly produced by RSPB, the National Trust and the WWF, Cel and Kedar get up close and personal with the ancient oaks.

They also sampled forest bathing with the Nottingham Forager Lucy Buckle.

Watch the film below and find out more about the Save Our Wild Isles campaign.
