Shopping and Gifts

***Please be aware that the shop will be closed for stocktaking from 3pm on Monday 25th March until 10am on Wednesday 27th March.***

From Robin Hood-inspired outfits and toy archery sets to loads of goodies for the wildlife in your outdoor space at home, there are plenty of ways to show your allegiance to our legend and our planet in our shop.

We’ve got games, books, dressing up, cuddly toys, scarves, cosmetics, candles and treats to eat, and lots, lots more.

And for the medievalists among you, why not pick up an ornate goblet or even a Sherwood chess set?

It all helps to support the work of the RSPB.

Nature enthusiasts will find a good range of binoculars in stock too, to make life a whole lot easier when attempting to find some of our feathered residents.

Our knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help you with any binocular and scope queries you may have, as well as assisting you to make the right optics choice. Look out for our binocular events or ask for a one-to-one demonstration.

We always advise calling ahead if you want to find if we stock something in particular or want to arrange a one-to-one binoculars session.

Binocular hire charges per day:

£3 children’s sets
£5 RSPB Puffin range
£7 RSPB Avocet range

The visitor centre shop is open 10am – 5pm in summer and 10am – 4pm in winter.

Can’t get to the shop before the big day?

Call us on 01623 677321 or email sherwoodforest@rspb.org.uk to discuss how we can post your order to you (sorry, but only available within the UK right now).

Is your next move buying one of our special edition Sherwood Forest chess sets?

You can also sign up to RSPB membership whilst you’re at Sherwood, giving you free access year-round to Sherwood and more than 170 reserves.

Did you know… the RSPB spends more than 90% of net income on conservation, public education and advocacy in the UK and around the world, so every purchase you make with us helps support our work? It’s that simple – we couldn’t do it without you!

Goblets, tankards and glassware

We’re thrilled to have the Nemesis range of goblets, tankards and glassware in our shop this summer. Their intricate designs have all the pomp and pageantry of Medieval banners and coats of arms.

They make the ideal drinking vessel when you’re in a Medieval mood, whether your favourite tipple is an ale, mead, wine or even water.

Gin, beer and mead

We now stock locally brewed ales from the Lincoln Green Brewing Company.

The refreshing range includes Hood Best Bitter, Marion Pale Ale, Sherwood Extra Pale, Archer American IPA and Tuck Porter.

Alternatively – or as well as – why not try something from the Castle Gate gin selection crafted with the finest botanicals by Weavers of Nottingham?

The collection offers classic dry gin, pink strawberry and lavender, Mead gin and Vodka gin.

For those of you who prefer to try something a little sweeter, we also have Nidhoggr’s fine traditional mead, so you too can sup like the Jolly Friar.

Homeware

Take home a wonderful and practical memento of your visit to Sherwood Forest, including our exclusive range created by artist Julia Gash.

We have notebooks, tote bags, bookmarks, prints, mugs and magnets, not to mention beautiful wooden acorn door wedges and key rings.
