RSPB Membership

When you join the RSPB you join more than 1.2 million others in a quest to protect and give nature a home.

With individual membership starting at just £4 per month, we have a range of packages to suit everyone.

What do I get?

Not only will your membership contribute to the protection of Sherwood, but to more than 200 other reserves, and the nature that lives there. You’ll receive a free gift, a membership pack and we’ll keep you up to date with our work and the things your membership fee makes possible. You’ll also get other opportunities to engage – like volunteering roles, events, and free entry and parking at our reserves. And it’s worth noting that this fee amounts to just a little more than the previous season parking ticket for Sherwood – but the difference it can make is huge.

Membership packages

All of our membership packages are modestly priced, with the option to give more if you want to. Membership is open to anyone over 16. If you are under this age, an adult will need to join on a family membership package, or they can complete an online or printed form on your behalf.

Individual membership – From just £4 per month
Joint membership – From just £4 per month for a joint, two-person membership
Family membership – From £5 and cover 1-2 adults and up to 5 children
Youth membership – From £23 per year, for one child; or £34 a year to cover up to 5 children

How we use your money

We spend 90% of net income on conservation, public education and advocacy.

There’s so much we can achieve with membership fees and other donations. For example, £4 helps us to plant 10 metres of hedgerow, creating habitat for hundreds of creatures, whilst £5 can help us plan and deliver a school visit and inspire a new generation to care for nature.

Other ways to help

We are currently working on a tree sponsorship scheme, which will allow you to help support our work here by adopting one of our fantastic trees for a year. Details are coming soon.

How can I join?
