Be a trader at Sherwood Forest

If you are a business owner looking for opportunities to sell your goods at a popular visitor destination, then Sherwood Forest could be the ideal location for you.

With an estimated 350,000 visitors a year from around the world, Robin Hood’s forest is the perfect place for a relaxing day out in the countryside or an iconic must-see venue on a UK tour itinerary.

Our busy events programme throughout the year also draws the crowds, with performers and entertainers, historical re-enactment groups and, of course, archery experts.

The highlight of our year is the annual Robin Hood Festival, celebrating the legendary outlaw with special event days throughout the summer.

The award-winning Visitor Centre building at Sherwood provides a great location for businesses to engage with visitors in the amphitheatre space and events green.

We welcome traders from across all retail sectors, especially those who create and sell medieval-themed goods and crafts.

We welcome performers, artists, crafters and workshops, as well as artisan goods and foods.

Health and wellbeing items are always well received at Sherwood too, as are games and activities.

To become a trader at Sherwood, you will have to complete the RSPB Licensing process, which will enable you to conduct business on the reserve. This usually takes around six weeks to be approved.

Once the process is completed, you will be able to trade here on the approved dates.

Our non-food pitch fees are very competitive and vary according to the time of year.

If you are a food and drink trader, please speak with our Visitor Experience team to negotiate rates. Email sherwoodevents@rspb.org.uk

Please note that we can’t permit the sale of toy weapons or dress-up costumes and headwear for children, and food and drink traders will be expected to sell products which are not already sold in our visitor café.
