Competition: Give our oak tree a colourful makeover
We’re inviting children to get creative with their colouring and drawing skills in a new competition this autumn.
Download our template picture of an oak tree and let your child’s imagination run wild.
They can simply colour it or maybe add animals or characters to their picture. Whatever they decide to do, we want to be ‘wowed’ by their work!
We are offering prizes of books or craft activities from our Visitor Centre shop (examples pictured below) to the winners in three different age categories:
- Under fives
- 6-12 year olds
- 13-17 year old
We also want to use one of the entries as the header image for our Visit Sherwood Facebook and Twitter pages throughout the Nottinghamshire half-term holiday (15th -30th October). That overall winning design will be seen by thousands of people each week.
Once your child’s picture is ready, you can scan it and and email it to sherwoodforest@rspb.org.uk
Please ensure you include your child’s first name, age, and a contact phone number for a parent or carer (we’ll already have an email address if you use this method!)
Or, you can bring in your child’s picture in person to our Visitor Centre at Sherwood Forest and Budby South Forest.
