Cycling at Sherwood

Sherwood is criss-crossed with a series of well-managed bridleways that cyclists can use.

Sustrans route 6, which links London to the Lake District, runs along the western edge of the reserve.

It’s a great way to explore the forest, but you will be sharing the routes with walkers, riders, wheelchair users, families, dogs…so please ride with care and consideration.

Check and photograph our site map in the Welcome Area to see where to pick up the bridleway from our Visitor Centre after you’ve stocked up on anything you need for your day!
