Hygge Tuesday Nordic Walk
If you’ve never tried Nordic walking before, why not enjoy a ‘hygge’ nordic walk in Sherwood Forest? 'Hygge' is the Danish concept of surrounding oneself with things and experiences that make one feel cosy and contended. So, as you might imagine, this is a not-so-fast session which will enable participants to appreciate the beautiful surroundings of Sherwood Forest, breathe in the pure air and immerse ourselves in nature. It's still Nordic walking at a fair pace but your instructor Tracy will endeavour to keep the speed manageable while still getting a workout. Nordic walking is a fantastic full body workout, but it can be as gentle as you like. When used properly, Nordic walking poles give you the posture and stability to help you walk faster, taller and for longer. The benefits of Nordic walking include:
