During the national lockdown we urge you to follow Government guidance on non-essential travel and please stay local to your nearest greenspaces.

In line with Government guidance on essential, daily exercise outdoors, our car park and trails are open for those in the local area.

The Visitor Centre is closed.

Please do not visit if you or any person you live with has any symptoms of coronavirus.

The visitor centre is closed.

Car Parking

The main and accessible car parks are open 10am – 4pm daily.

Parking costs £4, or free to RSPB members. Please pay at the machines and use the hand-sanitiser available there, the machines accept coin, card and contactless. While the car park locks to arriving cars at 4pm, it is possible to depart over the alligator teeth after this time.

Trails and Play Area

Please follow the one-way signage from the car park, around the centre and trails to enable everyone to maintain social distance.

Please follow the countryside code and take your litter home, particularly for large picnics. Some bins are available for small items of waste purchased on site.

The play area is open with a cap on numbers, please observe all signage.

When visiting us please observe current Government guidance and legal requirements around travel, maximum group sizes, social distancing, hygiene and follow all signage on site.
