Breathing life back into Budby

Join us for a free guided walk around the beautiful Budby South Forest Nature Reserve on Thursday November 1, 2018.

Two grant-funded projects to restore the wooded and open habitats of the heathland will be in motion, with mighty machines being used for the benefit of conservation. We’ll be showing off our work to improve the woodland components, install some impressive bare ground features and a robust grazing infrastructure.

We’ll cover a couple of miles at a gentle pace, so just come along to ask questions about the work, why we’re doing it and the wildlife it will help. No need to book, just turn up!

Please bring: binoculars, stout footwear, weather appropriate clothing, questions. Please note there are no facilities on site, so have your final loo and brew stop before you arrive!

Budby Lay-by, Swinecote Road (1 mile north from the VC car park).

The green barrier will be open from 9.45 am to park inside the reserve.
