Come and talk Robin with us this Summer!

Have you seen our new Robin Hood panels in the amphitheatre and in the forest?

We’ve installed a number of temporary story boards about the outlaw and Sherwood and want to use this to help shape what comes in future!  Huge thanks to the Miner2Major scheme and the Woodland Trust for funding this work.

This is the next step on from the consultation we held earlier in the year.  Almost 300 of you got in touch on-line or spoke to us in person to give your views about how you’d like to see the story of Robin Hood told around site.

We can’t thank you enough for taking part!  It was a fantastic response and helped us a great deal when it came to planning this part of our work.

We’ve taken your feedback, worked with a team of experts who specialise in researching and  interpreting stories and designed and installed a range of new panels.

Over the summer, we’ll be speaking to visitors as you stop and look at the new story boards and asking what you think.

Whether you love them or hate them, your comments are really important to us. And what your friend thinks. Or your little boy. Or your granny – or whoever is with you!  If you can give us any details about what it is you like or which parts don’t work for you, that’d be brilliant and so useful!

It’ll only take a couple of minutes to speak to our team, and if there’s no-one around and you want to leave feedback, we’ll have some cards in the visitor centre once the Robin Hood Festival is finished.

We’ll use your views to plan and build our more permanent Robin Hood displays.

As always, watch here for more details in the coming weeks and months!
