The Café
It’s hungry work taking on our trails. It’s a good job we have a cafe that can satisfy the need for something filling at the end (or start) of your Sherwood adventure.
The views from our café are stunning – it’s a great place to kick back and enjoy a cuppa with a slice of cake whilst you drink in the glorious vista of the forest edge.
From delicious pasties to sweet traybakes, our counter offers some tantalising choices.
Our unique triple-certified coffee is fair trade, organic and bird-friendly®, but, most importantly, delicious.
For our younger adventurers, we’ve got pick ‘n mix lunch bags, specially designed for you to grab and go, making sure you don’t waste another minute of your exploring time!
We use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and we like to keep our packaging to a minimum to cut down on waste. Our takeaway containers are all Vegware, meaning they are made from plants, and can be composted after use.
Once your food’s chosen – the next decision is where to enjoy it! As well as our café, which has some dog-friendly tables too, we have plenty of easy-access tables outside in the amphitheatre and under the roof canopy.
There’s plenty of water bowls in this area too to keep your four-legged friends happy.
If you want to venture further out to eat, there are benches along our main routes and picnic tables on our events green and by the Major Oak.
Please use the bins provided for any litter. Or, better still, take it home with you and help keep this magical forest as natural and beautiful as possible.
